Day 1
Day 1 : Munnar

Munnar: breathtakingly beautiful – a haven of peace and tranquility – the idyllic tourist destination in Gods own country. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft in Idukki district, Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Unending expanse of tea plantations ­ pristine valleys and mountains­ exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests ­ aroma of spice scented cool air ­ yes! This beautiful destination has all these and more. It Is the place you would love to visit ­ it is the place you would wish never to leave. Munnar is such a beautiful place in Kerala, which cannot be portrayed in a single canvas. Everything and anything here will make us excited. The hills, the mist, the valleys, the streams, the waterfalls, tea plantations, rare flora and fauna…. It is a beautiful tea town in Idukki district of Kerala easily accessible from Kochi and Coimbatore. The gorgeous hill station is ideally placed in the South Western Ghats of India. With an area of around 557 sq km, Munnar in Devikulam Taluk is the largest panchayat in Kerala.

Arrive in Cochin and Drive towards Munnar. En route experience the scenic waterfalls & drives. Munnar is a picturesque hill station situated in the eastern part of Kerala, lush green-carpeted tea and coffee plantations surround it. The beautiful landscapes, cozy weather, and the smell of tealeaves make Munnar one of the most sought-after destinations in South India. Munnar is situated near the Anaimudi Peak, the highest peak in the Western Ghats. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2
Day 2 : Munnar Local Sight seeing Tour

Morning after breakfast visit Mattupetty dam which has an artificial lake built by a small hydroelectric project. Echo Point is known for the natural echo affect it produces. Tea Museum (Closed on Mondays) explains about the processing of tea and history of Munnar and Eravikulam National Park is known as the natural habitat of endangered Nilgiri Tahr (Closed during FEB & MAR every year due to breeding period). Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3
Day 3 : Munnar - Alleppey

Alleppey Venice of the East check in to the hotel and later after a small fresh up will proceed for Sightseeing tour of Alleppey covering backwaters and beach and evening back to hotel OR Alleppey Houseboat (Applicable only if Houseboat Accommodation) Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey , where you will be booked to stay overnight on the Houseboat. Staying in Houseboat is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, evening tea & snacks, dinner next day breakfast and will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place. Overnight at Houseboat.

Day 4
Day 4 : Alleppey - Kovalam

Kovalam: is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse. Sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes and catamaran cruising are some of them. The tropical sun acts so fast that one can see the faint blush of coppery tan on the skin in a matter of minutes. Life on the beach begins late in the day and carries on well into the night. The beach complex includes a string of budget cottages, Ayurvedic health resorts, convention facilities, shopping zones, swimming pools, Yoga and Ayurvedic massage centres.

Today after breakfast check out from hotel and depart for Kovalam by road. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Kovalam Beach lies stretched out on the Malabar Coast, along the shoreline of a small town called Kovalam. Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy on the beach.

Day 5
Day 5 : Kovalam - Trivandrum Sight Seeing Tour

Morning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum located in the southwestern tip of India, bound by the Arabian Sea in the west and Tamil Nadu in the east. Named after Anantha Padmanabha or Lord Vishnu, the city is home to many ancient temples. The place has a long shoreline with internationally renowned beaches, historic monuments, backwater stretches and a rich cultural heritage make this district a much sought after tourist destination. Clean and green, Trivandrum the capital of Kerala is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Go for a visit to Padmanabha Swamy temple, Napier Museum and Srichitra Art gallery. Have a look around to Horse palace near the Padmanabha swamy temple which houses numerous artifacts. Visit the zoo near to The Napier museum. The park has plenty to excite the animal lover in you. The Trivandrum zoo is one among the best designed in Asia and is set amidst woodland, lakes and lawns. OR Proceed to Kanyakumari for Day Trip (only if Included in Package Cost or Applicable Additional Cost). Kanyakumari, India lands end is where the three sea Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet, and hence the confluence is called Thriveni Sangamam. The beach itself is a beautiful sight, with multi-coloured sands and spectacular sunrises and sunsets as the sky and horizon break into a riot of color. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam and Temple, Evening Visit Sunset Point. Evening Back to Kovalam & Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 6
Day 6 : Kovalam

check out of hotel and then transfer Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.
